Method of applying images — Tampon printing
Tampon printing is a printing method widely used in industry and services for marking, decorating and personalization products. Tampon printing is an indirect process of deep printing.

Printing occurs by transfer of ink from the cliche onto a product using an elastic tampon that makes it possible to print on almost any surfaces. Tampon printing is characterized by high profitability, simple production technology and easy to set up and use equipment. Tampon printing allows applying your logo on almost any product of the most complicated form.
Technology of tampon printing allows putting the image on souvenirs of small size and many runs. The surface for the application can be made of plastic (pens, breloques, lighters, etc.), wood, metal, glass. Tampon printing using elastic tampon allows you transferring images as on a flat surface as on a surface of different shape.
The method tampon printing used for applying logos, images on the souvenirs: pens, lighters, breloques, clocks, calculators, cups, ashtrays, key rings, bottle openers, plastic stands, or similar plastic items, leather and polyethylene, as well as on the bottle plugs, disposable tableware, perfume packaging, various office stationeries (mechanical pencils, rulers, box cutters, business card holders and others), audio- and videotapes, CDs, device cases.
- Make electronic model of image which will be applied to the product surface. Model is made by customer in accordance with the required technology, or contractor.
- Then, steel cliche is made of the model.
- Cliche transfer the image to the product surface using a special automated equipment. Tampon is in contact with the surface of a souvenir. Before that, tampon dipped into photopolymer cliche, absorbed the ink and transfered its imprint to the product.
- Drying of the product. Time depends on the paint used.
